In Şanlıurfa, under the Yiğit Group brand, Yiğit Pasta and Pasta Facilities are contributing to the country’s economy and increasing employment. In 2022, an integrated facility with an area of 8,500 m² is being constructed.
According to the Turkish Food Codex Wheat Flour Regulation, Special Purpose Wheat Flour is defined as wheat flour suitable for making products directly consumed such as baklava, pastries, biscuits, cakes, pastries, pizza, hamburgers, whole grain bread, as well as composite flours, especially processed flours, and semolina sub-flours for specific purposes. The quality of the raw materials used is closely related to producing a high-quality final product.
Şanlıurfa’s soil is not only the birthplace of all 338 varieties of wheat but also where the evidence of the first wheat cultivation and bread-making, dating back 12,000 years, was found. As representatives of this ancient culture, we are committed to transforming the hard work of Şanlıurfa’s farmers into high-value products that reflect the culture with natural authenticity.
In the ancient plains of our region, where the sun casts its unique glow, particularly in Harran and Göbeklitepe, we aim to bring together the dedication of our farmers and the harvest of zivago, dariel, burgaz, ovidio wheat varieties. Our goal is to combine Yiğit Group’s engineering expertise with Industry 4.0 technology to ensure the finest quality.
Pursuant to this goal, we have initiated the necessary preparations for a high-quality pasta production facility in the 3rd organized industrial zone of Şanlıurfa with a $60,000,000 investment. Each stage of production, carried out in computer-controlled integrated modern facilities by our expert team, is meticulously planned to create a product that aligns with consumers’ health, balance, and palate preferences. Our products will meet international market standards, including BRC, IFC, ISO 9001, and ISO 22000, to ensure their presence on international market shelves.
With our national and international connections, we aim to offer products involved in commercial activities in a manner that best meets the needs of the industry and consumers under the most favorable conditions. Our quality approach, which aims for complete customer satisfaction, coupled with contemporary production techniques and a professional perspective, will bring added value to all our customers who place their trust in us through our products.
In our facility planned to be operational in May 2024, we aim to produce 9,000 tons of pasta monthly following the completion of the investment. The production will focus on high-quality pasta, with the goal of exporting 6,000 tons per month, primarily to Europe, Japan, and the Far East. This export is expected to contribute approximately 64.8 million USD annually to our country.
