Ömer Yiğit, born in Suruç district of Şanlıurfa, started his business career in the wheat market of Şanlıurfa in 2009 after completing his education. Eager to promote the cereal products cultivated in Şanlıurfa’s fertile lands across Türkiye, he worked diligently, culminating in the establishment of the Yiğit Tarım factory in 2014. Through the success achieved and the development of a strong corporate identity in Yiğit Tarım, he played a pivotal role in the company’s expansion. Consequently, in 2018, Yiğit Agro Licensed Storage was introduced to meet the needs of local farmers in Şanlıurfa.
Since the commencement of his business journey, Ömer Yiğit has been realizing his aspiration of introducing products from Şanlıurfa’s fertile soil to Türkiye and the global market by initiating the first and only pasta factory in Şanlıurfa. Focusing on producing pasta with 14% protein content, he aimed to boost employment in the region, ensure fair recognition of Şanlıurfa farmers’ products, and showcase Şanlıurfa, the birthplace of the first wheat, to the world with a high-quality offering.
Drawing from his business experiences, Ömer Yiğit significantly contributed to the formulation and execution of strategic growth plans for Yiğit Group. His effective leadership, emphasis on teamwork, and commitment to collaboration quickly propelled Yiğit Group to recognition, both locally in Şanlıurfa and nationwide.

Ahmet Yiğit, who was born in Şanlıurfa’s Suruç district, entered the business arena at a young age, specializing particularly in the cultivation of cotton, a prominent crop in the region. His expertise played a pivotal role in leading the establishment of a cotton gin factory in Şanlıurfa OIZ in 1998. The experience gained and the implementation of a corporate business model started to garner recognition for Ahmet Yiğit beyond the boundaries of Şanlıurfa, eventually contributing to the opening of an additional cotton gin factory in Mersin.
Recognizing the significance of storing cotton products, especially due to their seasonal nature, Ahmet Yiğit played a vital role in the initiation of Yiğit Agro’s Licensed Storage activities for cotton products in 2022, driven by the demands of farmers in the region.
Leveraging his in-depth knowledge of cotton products, he became actively involved in substantial operations in the national cotton trade, with a particular focus on benefiting farmers in Şanlıurfa. By staying abreast of developments and demand trends in the cotton industry, he played a key role in shaping Yiğit Group’s future trade strategies. His ongoing collaboration with farmers reflects a commitment to supplying humanity with nourishing, reliable, and high-quality products from the fertile lands of Mesopotamia, where agriculture has its roots.

Mahmut Yiğit, who was born in Şanlıurfa, ventured into the business arena in Şanlıurfa’s wheat market with the intention of preserving a three-generation family tradition following a successful educational journey. By closely monitoring the developments in the cereal market, encompassing corn, wheat, and barley, he played a pivotal role in establishing Yiğit Group as a significant player in this sector, facilitating its expansion beyond the boundaries of Şanlıurfa. Actively contributing to the formation and institutionalization of Yiğit Tarım, which evolved into a notable brand in all aspects of cereal trading, and subsequently, Yiğit LİDAŞ, Mahmut Yiğit has been instrumental in these endeavors.
Cereal products find applications across diverse industries, including the food industry, feed production, flour milling, and alcoholic beverage production. Recognizing the widespread use of these products, the vigilant tracking of sectoral developments becomes crucial. Hamza Yiğit, born in Şanlıurfa’s Suruç district, entered the business world at a young age, starting his trade in the wheat market of Şanlıurfa. Leveraging his extensive experience in the cotton industry, he played a vital role in establishing the recognition of Yiğit Group, initially in Şanlıurfa and later expanding its presence nationwide. This contribution not only ensured the acknowledgment of the hard work put in by cotton farmers but also facilitated the global exposure of high-quality products. Actively participating in the establishment of Yiğit Tarım, Yiğit Agro, and Urfa Yem within Yiğit Group, he played a pivotal role in these ventures.
He took an active role in setting up the region’s inaugural pasta factory, dedicated to producing pasta from the premium wheat of Urfa. Additionally, he played a critical role in shaping the production processes of 14% protein pasta. This involvement positioned Yiğit Group to strive for global recognition in the agricultural and food sectors, initially in Şanlıurfa and now throughout the entire country.
In assuming financial responsibilities within Yiğit Group, he led the formulation, implementation, and decision-making processes for the company’s long-term financial strategies, contributing significantly to the establishment of financial objectives. This leadership played a fundamental role in sustaining the growth and institutionalization of Yiğit Group.
