Insulation materials and cooling equipment used in areas where organic products are stored are selected with this purpose in mind. Organic products are stored separately from non-organic products, both before and after processing, either in a different location or at a different time.
Additionally, in cases where separate storage is not possible, measures are taken to prevent the mixing of organic products with conventional products. When entrepreneurs work with non-organic and organic products or store other agricultural products and foodstuffs in storage facilities, the following precautions are taken:

Every necessary measure is taken to prevent mixing or alteration of organic and non-organic products and to ensure proper identification.
Adequate cleaning measures are taken before storing organic products, and their effectiveness is regularly monitored, with records maintained by the entrepreneur.
During the storage of organic products, no substances or methods are used that could compromise the organic nature of the product, including the use of pesticides or fumigation that could lead to the loss of organic characteristics.
Materials or substances that could cause organic products to lose their organic attributes and unnatural practices are not used during the storage of organic products.
Regular records of storage conditions as well as the quantities and dates of entry and exit of organic products are maintained. These records, signed by the entrepreneur, are approved by the authorized organization, with one copy kept by the entrepreneur and another by the authorized organization.
The storage of inputs not permitted in organic plant and animal production units is strictly prohibited.
